XGA Resolution with Excellent,
Crisp Image Quality
Showing objects, books or experiments on a big screen improves student
attention, and understanding. The DC133 allows students clear visibility
throughout the classroom. With XGA image output (resolution of 1024x786
pixels) and a 6x mechanical zoom, the ladybug DC133 delivers excellent image
quality with detailed pictures and crisp text. Books with smaller fonts can
be viewed clearly on a screen. In addition, the camera head is mounted on a
flexible gooseneck which can be bent to allow a closer look at smaller
objects.
VGA and USB Connections
With a VGA output, the DC133 can be connected to an external monitor and a
projector. An analog output for television and a USB 2.0 output for PCs,
Macs and interactive whiteboards further extend the connection options
Flexible
Gooseneck Design for Easy Adjustment
The DC series provides a unique gooseneck design that mounts the camera and
lamps on separate gooseneck arms to provide ultimate maneuverability and
flexibility. With a quick adjustment, teachers can show documents or 3-D
teaching materials from every angle, with the desired illumination and
without restrictions. The 6x mechanical zoom combined with the maneuverable
head lets teachers can zoom in to smaller text or objects.
Present the Best Pictures Regardless of Classroom
Lighting
Many teachers face the all-too-familiar classroom dilemma of lights on or
off?, caused when older-generation projectors demand a well-lit document
while the projector requires a dimly lit setting. The DC133 not only
automatically adjusts to the room lighting, but also comes with a lamp
mounted on a gooseneck, to provide proper lighting and a clear image in
dimly lit environments without dark areas, glare or burn spots. The teacher
can easily adjust the gooseneck lamp for optimum lighting or switch the lamp
off when it is not needed.
Easy to Use
Like all Lumens document cameras, the DC133 has been designed with ease of
use in mind. Any feature can be started or stopped with the click of a
button. The remote control and the units physical design allow educators to
integrate the camera into their natural teaching style, whether they want to
walk around the room or stand next to the unit to control it. The cameras
gooseneck-mounted light and camera solve the problem of a teachers
creativity being limited by the capabilities of the equipment and allow
educators to use a broader range of visual examples than ever before.
Internal Memory and Storage for Up to Nine Images
With the DC133, educators can easily capture images by clicking the
capture button and automatically store them in the unit's internal memory.
Saved images can be readily recalled as a slide show or single images. The
Flip mode allows users to rotate images, while the Lumens queue" software
provides annotation capabilities.
