Da-Lite Cosmopolitan Electrol Electric Screen

Wall & Ceiling Mounted Electric Screen

Economical Electric Screen
Perfect for applications where recessed installations are not desired.  The "Cosmo" includes a Decora three-position wall switch and the quiet Motor-In-The-Roller mounting system for a smooth quiet operation.  The optional Floating Mounting Bracket will simplify wall or ceiling mount installations by allowing the Cosmo to be mounted to wall or ceiling studs and then aligned left or right.

Installation
There are three methods of mounting to include: Flush against wall; Suspended from ceiling (use extension brackets); and Recessed above ceiling.

NOTE: Under no circumstances should unit be completely sealed in recessed installation. Allow access for service. Picture surface is centered in case. Case extends 4" beyond surface on either end. Do not attach anything to screen slat rod or bottom fabric pocket.  Wiring diagrams can be found by clicking here.

Optional floating mounting bracket allows screen to be mounted onto wall or ceiling studs and aligned left or right.

Motor In Roller Operation
Electrically operated 120 volt (60 Hz) 2.0 amp. Motor is mounted inside the roller with a patented noise silencer, oiled for life, with automatic thermal overload cut-out, integral gears, and capacitor and an electric brake to prevent coasting. The Cosmo has a pre-set but adjustable limit switches to automatically stop picture surface in the "up" and "down" positions.  The roller is made of rigid metal, 3" in diameter. 
 


Cosmopolitan Ceiling Installation with Optional Ceiling Trim Kit

Ceiling Trim Kit
The Ceiling Trim Kit enables the Cosmopolitan® to be easily recessed into a drop ceiling. Mounted to the end caps with the included mounting hardware, the Ceiling Trim Kit provides a uniform slot in the ceiling for the screen to drop from. The Ceiling Trim Kit is available for use with both tensioned and non-tensioned versions of the Cosmopolitan® in sizes up to 9’ x 12’.  For Installation instructions on the Ceiling Trim Kit click here.

High Contrast Matte White Surface
High Contrast Matte White is the newest addition to Da-Lite’s line of gray screen surfaces. With a gain of 1.1 and a 50-degree half angle, the High Contrast Matte White is the perfect choice for installations utilizing DLP or LCD projectors with moderate output. With a gray colored base material and a specially designed reflective coating, the High Contrast Matte White fabric is designed to enhance the black level of projected images without sacrificing the white level output. High Contrast Matte White is designed for use in applications where a tensioned screen is not needed

Custom Sizes and Extras:
All screens are standard with borders, extra drop (fabric at top or bottom of the viewing surface) is available.  220V is available on all Electrols.  White case is standard but a black case is available for a slight charge.   Standard sizes are available through our shipping cart, please call our office for a quote on custom sizes, extra drop, case color or 220V power requirements.

Drop Shipping
